Community Snapshot

Serving The Community

Grace partners with Lutheran Services Carolinas with a Circle of Welcome that accompanies a refugee family in settling in the community. A women's group recently packaged 90 Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief to be distributed to Ukranian refugees around the world. Our Share Team coordinates efforts such as the CROP Walk of Raleigh, Habitat for Humanity home builds, the Peace Booth, and our Care of Creation ministry.

Youth

Youth are loved, valued, and affirmed at Grace! With numerous fellowship and service opportunities, weekly chances to serve in worship, and an active Confirmation and Sunday School life for Middle and High School youth, they take 'center stage' in the faith life of this church!

Worship with us!

We offer a blended worship that combines traditional liturgy with contemporary language and music. An online option is available along with shorter Children's Worship and Sermons on our Youtube Channel.

Building Community

Weekly Grace Fest during the summer months before worship, Church picnic and Ministry Fair early in the fall, Bonfires with s'mores, singing, and Communion, Dinner Church and Picnic Church. Lenten and Advent midweek meals together.

Kids Matter

Monthly activities for youth of all ages, VBS, Confirmation for middle schoolers, Sunday School for all ages at 9:00 on Sunday mornings.

Music and Creative Arts

Grace has an amazing music minister who loves to explore many styles of music, and musicians who share the passion for praising God in creative ways! There are currently 3 choirs - the Adult Choir, the Covenant Choir for older children, and the Cherubs for young children. All practice weekly during the school year and sing during worship in a variety of ways. Grace hosts musical ensembles such as the Vida Strings for charitable concerts.

Where You Belong

“I wound up at Grace kind of by accident. But I was welcomed into the worship service here, and during the service, I felt the Spirit descend and say “This is where you belong!”
